All of us who live or work in Roslindale have a stake in supporting a vibrant and healthy neighborhood business district. 70% of the RVMS operating budget comes from resident memberships and local business sponsorships. Your contribution to RVMS is an investment in Roslindale and helps us continue to preserve and improve our community.
Resident Membership
Roslindale residents are an important part of the community partnership that makes Main Street work. Your $25 resident membership donation helps fund our events and programs in the community, and includes you in a growing network of concerned and invested Roslindale citizens. As a member you will receive our monthly e-newsletter with updates on projects, events and volunteer opportunities. You will also receive special invitations to events like our annual members meeting and Taste of Roslindale fundraiser, as well as our annual “Year in Review” report.
You can become a member in three easy ways: make a secure online contribution through Paypal, using a credit card or your Paypal account; download and mail in a membership form with a check or money order; or stop by our office Monday through Thursday from 9-5 to join RVMS in person. You can also join by visiting the RVMS table at any of our events.

Financing Resources for Small Businesses

ARC loans are short term, interest-free loans intended to provide an immediate infusion of capital to small businesses to assist with making payments of principal and interest on existing debt. These loans allow borrowers to redirect cash flow from making loan payments to investing in their businesses, to help sustain the business and retain jobs. These loans are funded by the American Recovery Act of 2009 and will be available until September 2010 or funding runs out, whichever comes first.

RVMS Board and Staff

The RVMS Board of Directors is a working volunteer board comprised of residents, business owners and professionals in Roslindale. The Board provides a primary link to the community, working to build consensus and cooperation among stakeholders in the business district. The Board also provides organizational, administrative and financial oversight of Roslindale Village Main Street and raises funds to support the organization’s programs and special projects. Each volunteer committee is made up of at least one Board member, who serves as committee chair and works to align the committee’s efforts with RVMS’s overall mission and strategic plan.
Roslindale Village Main Street is an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
