Demolition Begins at Washington Street Gas Station Site

gas-station-demo-1Wednesday was a historic day in Roslindale Village, as onlookers watched a backhoe demolish a long-standing eyesore at the abandoned gas station site on Washington Street.  The demolition marks the launch of a redevelopment project on the site that promises to bring retail activity and foot traffic to a long-neglected block of the business district.  Read more
