Roslindale Branch Library threatened by budget cuts

Roslindale Branch LibraryUPDATE: Tuesday, April 6  is the key community meeting with the BPL Trustees where Roslindale advocates intend to be heard loud and clear.  Please attend this critical meeting from 6-7:30 at the Curley School (493 Centre St., JP) to show your support for our local branch, which ranks in the top 10 branches citywide for items borrowed, foot traffic, programs offered and program attendance..  The Trustees will be voting this Friday on a budget cut plan – now is the time to show your support!

Roslindale Farmers’ Market Volunteer Meeting – Tuesday, April 13

Spring has officially begun, and at Roslindale Village Main Street our Farmers’ Market Steering Committee has been busy getting ready for our best season ever.

2009 was a huge success for the Farmers’ Market, with more farms and specialty vendors than ever, and weekly live music and activities attracting upwards of 1500 visitors every week. This year we’re anticipating an even better market, with more exciting vendors and an extended season.
