Location Roslindale is located in the center of the Southwest corner of Boston. Roslindale has a distinctly suburban flavor characterized by tree-lined streets. Its village center, located around Adams Park, offers the convenience of businesses within walking distance for most residents.
Community Events Roslindale Village Main Street hosts a variety of community events throughout the year, including a summer concert series,a Harvest Festival in the Fall, a farmers' market from June through October (Saturdays at Adams Parkl from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.), and other holiday events. The Cooperative Bank 5K Trick or Treat Trot is an annual RVMS fundraiser held the last Saturday of October. The Roslindale Day Parade takes place the 1st Sunday of October each year. It begins at 1 p.m. at the corner of Washington and South Streets. It goes up Belgrade Avenue taking a right onto West Roxbury Parkway and then a right onto Centre Street and then a right onto Sout. It ends at Fallon Field. There are 2 Roslindale Community Centers. Roslindale Village is also home to the Boston School of Modern Languages, which brings over 200 graduate students into Roslindale on a daily basis.
