The Square Root has invited Roslindale's own Michael Boezi to host a monthly residency! Local songwriters and performers will be presenting original songs in a stripped-down, low-key format. The focus will be on songcraft and community – bringing people together in a safe, intimate setting for a set of enjoyable evenings once/month. Each night of the residency, Michael will perform a solo set of original songs – and feature a guest songwriter/performer to perform a set too. These guests will be curated from the diverse creative talent we have here in the local Boston music scene – some of the best and/or most promising local songwriters.
Michael Boezi is a songwriter who performs original songs about current challenges in the culture in a busking, Billy Bragg style. Throughout this residency, he's inviting a curated list of guest performers – some of the best and/or most promising local songwriters.
