Roslindale Village Main Street is driven by a partnership of volunteer residents, business owners, and property owners with a common investment in Roslindale Village’s future. Volunteers primarily participate in the work of RVMS by joining one of our Committees: Design, Economic Development, Marketing, and the Farmers Market Committee. Committees in each of these areas meet regularly and collaborate on focused initiatives to improve the business district, attract foot traffic, and strengthen the community. To begin volunteering with RVMS, we recommend you attend an RVMS Volunteer Orientation.
Outside of the Committees, volunteers also assist in a range of capacities, from events assistance to office work. Sign up for one of our New Volunteer Orientations:
Please contact the Executive Director with any questions.
Roslindale Village Main Street launched the Rozzie Bucks program in September 2013 as a way to reinforce the habit of setting aside money for local shopping. Thanks to our Co-Sponsor The Cooperative Bank for making the Rozzie Bucks program possible.
Roslindale Village Main Street now offers Rozzie Bucks in $1, $5, $10, and $20 denominations. Purchase Rozzie Bucks at the RVMS office at 4236A Washington Street during regular business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) or at the RVMS Farmers Market in Adams Park each Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. Think of it like buying a gift certificate to a mall — except these Rozzie Bucks are the gift of shopping locally in our Village.
