WELLNESS FAIR

Join us for a Wellness Fair on Saturday, April 25 from 1-4pm at The Substation! Meet local business owners who offer various wellness services, like acupuncture, reiki, message therapy, personal training, and more!

 

The Mass General Brigham Community Care Van will be offering health screenings throughout the event. No appointment needed and all types of insurance accepted! Learn more here. Services offered will include:

• Blood pressure screening, care, and education

• Diabetes screening, care, and education

• Colorectal cancer screening and education

• Flu & COVID vaccines

The Community Care Van will be located in the Roslindale Congregational Church parking lot.

Greater Roslindale Medical & Dental Center will offer a variety of services and information. They will have new-patient forms available and clinicians on site, along with a spin wheel for wellness themed prizes, and a raffle entry for a chance to win one of two laptops! Additional resources include:

• Blood pressure checks & information will be available

• Their Community Health team will distribute information on resources offered in the Roslindale area (food insecurity, housing, social needs, etc.)

• Their Population Health team will have a mammogram van interest list, cancer screening awareness information, and they will offer a 15-min cancer screenings presentation

• Their Behavioral Health team will offer presentations about anxiety & depression, and lead a collaborative mural, grounding exercises, and Q&A

Rozzie Bikes will be outside The Substation offering free bike repair. They will also have e-bikes and cargo bikes to show and a stationary bike to try out.
