ABOUT RVMS ANNUAL EVENTS
Roslindale Village Main Street puts on many events throughout the year, including several signature events that have become tradition in our neighborhood. They are a great way to connect with your neighbors, support our local businesses, and celebrate our community. These events are free and open to the public. We hope you'll join us!

SUMMER FARMERS MARKET
When: Saturdays from June - November
What: The Farmers Market is a staple in our community. It brings neighbors together to shop locally for fresh produce, specialty foods, unique crafts, and more. Catch children's programming and live music each week while you shop from our wide variety of vendors.

The Farmers Market is open from 9:00am - 1:30pm every Saturday throughout the season, rain or shine.
WINTER FARMERS MARKET
​When: Sundays from January - March
What: The Summer Farmers Market may end in November, but you don't need to wait until June to get your fresh veggies and farmers market goodies! We hold a Winter Farmers Market with appearances from some of your favorite summer vendors, plus a chance to check out some new vendors as well. Shop local with us through the winter!

The Winter Farmers Market currently takes place indoors at the Emerald Society (10 Birch St.) with additional vendors on Birch St. Plaza.
HALLOWEEN BUSINESS TRICK-OR-TREATING
When: Saturday in late October
What: Trick-or-Treat at the local businesses! We love to get our Rozzie businesses in on the fun. Families can grab a list of participating businesses at the Farmers Market that morning, then head out for some trick-or-treating around the square!​
SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY
When: The Saturday after Thanksgiving
What: You've heard of Small Business Saturday, but did you know that RVMS helped to create it? The first Small Business Saturday was observed in 2010, and it was first created by American Express in partnership with Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and Roslindale Village Main Street! Wander through the village, check out all of our awesome small, local businesses, and get started on your holiday shopping!

TREE LIGHTING

When: The Saturday after Thanksgiving
What: After spending the afternoon shopping in the village, head to Adams Park for the Tree Lighting! This heartwarming holiday event is fun for all ages. Decorate ornaments, enjoy some carols, and visit with Santa - or come for the reindog parade to see some pups dressed in their holiday best!

HOLIDAY MARKET
When: Usually a Thursday in December

What: The Holiday Market is a festive event to bring residents, visitors, and local businesses together to celebrate and shop for the season. Come down to do your holiday shopping from craft vendors, listen to live music, shop local businesses, and spread cheer with your neighbors and friends in Roslindale! You'll always find unique, handmade, and fun gifts.
