ABOUT RVMS ANNUAL EVENTS
Roslindale Village Main Street puts on many events throughout the year, including several signature events that have become tradition in our neighborhood. They are a great way to connect with your neighbors, support our local businesses, and celebrate our community. These events are free and open to the public. We hope you'll join us!

WINTER FARMERS MARKET
​When: Sundays from January - March
What: The Summer Farmers Market may end in November, but you don't need to wait until June to get your fresh veggies and Farmers Market goodies! We hold a Winter Farmers Market with appearances from some of your favorite summer vendors. Bundle up and shop local with us through the winter!
CHICK-OR-TREAT EGG HUNT
​When: March 23, 2024
What: The Egg Hunt is a kid favorite. And with good reason! Each year, we "hide" eggs around the village for kids to collect at local businesses. We often have live performances, lawn games, kids' crafts, snacks, and more to fill out this community tradition. And of course, the Easter Bunny himself always makes an appearance!
FARMERS MARKET OPENING DAY
When: June 1, 2024
What: We love our Famers Market, and Opening Day kicks it off for the season! Along with our vendors returning to Adams Park and Birch St. Plaza, we fill the day with entertainment and activities. It's a neighborhood staple you won't want to miss!

The 2024 Summer Farmers Market will run from June 1 - November 23, 2024. The market is open from 9:00am - 1:30pm every Saturday, rain or shine.
SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY
When: November 30, 2024
What: You've heard of Small Business Saturday, but did you know that RVMS helped to create it? The first Small Business Saturday was observed in 2010, and it was first created by American Express in partnership with Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and Roslindale Village Main Street! Wander through the village, check out all of our awesome small, local businesses, and get started on your holiday shopping!

TREE LIGHTING

When: November 30, 2024
What: After spending the afternoon shopping in the village, head to Adams Park for the Tree Lighting! This heartwarming holiday event is fun for all ages. Decorate ornaments, enjoy some carols, and visit with Santa - or come for the reindog parade to see some pups dressed in their holiday best!

HOLIDAY MARKET
When: December 12, 2024
What: The Holiday Market is a festive event to bring residents, visitors, and local businesses together to celebrate and shop for the season. Come down to do your holiday shopping from craft vendors, listen to live music, shop local businesses, and spread cheer with your neighbors and friends in Roslindale! You'll always find unique, handmade, and fun gifts.
