Rain Couldn’t Stop the Flavor: Dumpling Festival Brings Rozzie Square Together!

1 min read

After a rainy Nor’easter forced us to reschedule, on Saturday, October 3rd, Adams Park and Birch Street Plaza came alive for the annual Dumpling Festival! Roslindale Village was buzzing as families, neighbors, and food lovers gathered to celebrate one of the world’s most cherished comfort foods.

What the Community Had to Say

The positive vibes were overflowing in the park, the plaza, and across social media:

  • "Amazing day at the Dumpling Festival" — Brian Savage (Instagram)

  • "Loving it! Such an amazing crowd." — Cecilia Aragundi

  • "So awesome" — Kelly McGrath

True Community Activation

The energy across both Adams Park and Birch Street Plaza was electric. We brought together an incredible lineup of our local best chefs, beloved restaurants, and specialty vendors serving everything from all-time favorite traditional recipes to bold gourmet twists. Children had coloring stations on the lawn, families shared picnic tables, and friends caught up while lining up for their favorite spots. It was a spectacular showcase of community spirit, bringing residents together to eat, laugh, and explore the vibrant public spaces of our neighborhood.

We’re already dreaming about the next gathering. Until then, keep shopping local, keep sharing good food, and we'll see you at the next Dumpling Fest!
