Roslindale Village Main Street’s Annual Egg Hunt Takes Place Sunday, April 2nd!

Mr. Bunny makes his welcome appearance during Roslindale Village Main Street’s Chick-or-Treat Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 2 from 10:00am-1:00pm! The much-loved tradition draws hundreds of families to this hunt for 5,000 toy-filled eggs. The Egg Hunt will kick off at Birch Street Plaza, and kids will hunt for eggs trick-or-treat style at various businesses around the Village. Look for signs in business windows, and a map will be available at the event to know which businesses are participating.

Once you've filled your baskets, meet us back on Birch Street Plaza for children's activities, entertainment, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. Local band, Louder Than Milk, will be providing some live music! Balloon animals will be available from 10:30am-12:30pm, face painting will be happening from 11am-1pm, and Louder Than Milk will begin their set at 11:30am!

Children should bring a basket or bag to collect eggs. Older children and families can join for activities, live music, and more! Our eggs are filled with toys, not candy, so they are allergen friendly! And if you're lucky, you'll find one of the three golden eggs with a gift card to a local Roslindale business inside! Businesses include Birch Street House and Garden, Rozzie Square Theater, and Square Root.

“The Annual Egg Hunt is a kid favorite that draws families from all over. It’s a fun way to lift everyone’s spirits after the cold winter months,” said Roslindale Village Main Street Event Manager Steve Marcelin. “The much-anticipated appearance of the Easter Bunny is always a big hit, and we’re excited about this year’s entertainment and activities. We hope to see many families come out to enjoy this heart-warming neighborhood tradition.”

The event is free and open to all and will happen rain or shine.
