Last week, we gathered at The Substation to review our past year and celebrate our wins. It was a true community celebration that brought together RVMS staff, board members, and volunteers, business owners, and community members. We also presented our 2025 Volunteer and Board of the Year, as well as the winners of The Rozzies! Congratulations to all our winners and nominees! We were honored to be joined by Mayor Michelle Wu, who presented a proclamation declaring April 30 "Courtney Pong Day" in the City of Boston. Courtney is an RVMS board member and our former board president. She has emceed countless events for us with her unmatched stage presence, and last year, upon recognizing a gap in our programming and an opportunity to celebrate our local business community, she created The Rozzies, our community awards celebration. Courtney also owns The Rozzie Square Theater and runs ComedySportz Boston, providing a space and an outlet for comedy, improv, and more in our neighborhood. She is a community leader and couldn't be more deserving of this honor.
