Roslindale Village Main Street’s Annual Egg Hunt Takes Place Sunday, April 10th!

Updated: May 20, 2022

Mr. Bunny makes his welcomed appearance Sunday, April 10th at 10:00 am during Roslindale Village Main Street’s 26th Annual Egg Hunt! The much-loved tradition draws hundreds of families to this hunt for 7,000 treat-filled eggs. This year’s Egg Hunt will be at Birch Street Plaza in Roslindale. There are several activities at the Egg Hunt to help herald the long-awaited spring weather!

The hunt kicks off at 10:00 am sharp and starts an hour of fun and celebration.

This year, we’ve partnered with the businesses in the village to have eggs available at their locations. You can look forward to businesses such as Square Root, Jimmie cafe, The Rozzie Theater, Birch Street house and Garden, and more.

“The Annual Egg Hunt draws families from all around – It helps revive the mood around the neighborhood after the cold winter days,” said Roslindale Village Main Street Event Manager Steve Marcelin. “It is a heart-warming event where neighbors gather to enjoy the day out of the house and participate in a wonderful Roslindale tradition. We are also excited to bring back the event after two years of the pandemic!”

Children ages 2 to 6 may attend the hunt and should bring a basket or bag to collect eggs. Older children and families can join for live performances with lawn games, kid’s crafts, and snacks filling out this community tradition.

Along with the Egg Hunt, families will be entertained by a professional face painter thanks to sponsors, arts & crafts thanks to the event committee members, and much more! RVMS Committees and Board Members will be there to help out as well!

The event is free and open to all and will happen rain or shine.
